T60RP 50TH ANNIVERSARY" won the Gold Award in the category of open-type overhead headphones (between 30,000 yen and 50,000 yen) in the Lifestyle Subcommittee at "VGP 2024 Winter," one of the largest audiovisual awards in Japan.
The housing is made of solid natural wood.
Therefore, there may be differences in grain, bark, coloration, knots, etc. in each housing, but this will not affect the sound quality.

This product is based on the T60RP, which is equipped with an RP diaphragm recognized by musicians and engineers around the world as a monitor headphone and optimized for listening specifications to achieve a new RP sound, and employs a housing made of solid African paddock, a high-grade wood.
The T60RP is a special 50th anniversary model of the Fostex T60RP, which differs from the existing T60RP in that it has been manufactured in Japan and each unit has been carefully assembled, with new acoustic adjustments and a choice of earpads according to your preferences.

Features
Housing carved from solid African paddock, a high-grade wood
African paddock, a high-grade wood, is hard, heavy in specific gravity, and has excellent dimensional stability and beautiful wood surfaces, and is used for instruments such as xylophones and guitars.
The housing is machined from this solid wood, and combined with the delicate expressiveness of the RP diaphragm, you can enjoy the depth and luster of the rich and solid mid-low range, and the comfortable sound quality of the muddy and extended high range.
Two types of ear pads included
Two types of earpads, synthetic leather type and velour type, are included and can be replaced according to your preference. Around-the-ear type earpads are designed to provide a comfortable fit for long hours of listening.
Synthetic leather type is pre-installed at the time of shipment.
Equipped with Fostex's traditional RP diaphragm
The RP (Regular Phase) planar diaphragm, which is different from conventional dynamic cone-type diaphragms, is made of a highly heat-resistant polyimide film base material with etched copper foil. The driver unit with neodymium magnet provides excellent linearity, natural connection of the reproduction bandwidth from low to high frequencies, good transient characteristics, and high input resistance up to 3,000mW.
Detachable connectors that can be used for different cables depending on the operating environment, and support for balanced connections
The cable uses a high-quality OFC conductor. It delivers high resolution and crisp sound in all bands. Furthermore, when connected to a balanced output player or headphone amplifier with the optional balanced cable, unnecessary noise is suppressed and a clearer sound with a greater sense of separation can be reproduced.
Optional balanced cables are available in Φ2.5 (ET-RP2.5BL), Φ4.4 (ET-RP4.4BL), and XLR (ET-RPXLR).
Rubber type headband and genuine leather head pad
A durable rubber-type headband and textured genuine leather headpads provide a stable fit.
