AP25.

The top-of-the-line model of the "AP Series" that achieves clear, high-quality sound through a high sound quality design employing acoustic-specific parts in various parts.

Features

High-performance digital amplifier with a maximum output of 25W + 25W, operational amplifiers, and other carefully selected high-grade dedicated acoustic parts

The series’ largest 25W+25W output high performance digital amplifier, operational amplifier, and other high quality acoustic dedicated parts such as coils and capacitors are used to achieve clear and high quality sound through a high quality sound design that pursues low distortion and low noise.

Adopts a compact size chassis that matches a variety of scenes

The AP series features a simple, rigid steel compact size housing. (Width 133 mm, height 42 mm, depth 165 mm)

Equipped with a pre-output terminal to expand the system by connecting an active subwoofer, power amplifier, etc.

It is possible to output the signal at line level after the volume has been adjusted by the AP25 volume. For example, when an active subwoofer is connected, operating the AP25 volume will simultaneously adjust the subwoofer volume in conjunction with the volume of the main speakers connected to the AP25 speaker outputs.

Gold-plated terminals for banana plugs are used for passive speaker output terminals

The output terminals for passive speakers are gold-plated screw-type speaker terminals compatible with banana plugs and Y-lugs for secure connections.

Equipped with an auto-standby function that complies with the European Eco-Design Directive for environmentally deployable designs

When the input to the device remains at no signal or near signal level, it automatically switches to standby mode and reduces power consumption to 0.5W or less. This function can be turned ON/OFF and the time until the standby mode is activated can be set to either 1 minute or 12 minutes using the dipswitch on the bottom of the unit, depending on the operating environment and application.

FAQ

Q
What happens if I connect a speaker outside the compatible speaker impedance range?
A

Please do not do this as it may cause the AP25 to malfunction.

In particular, do not connect a speaker unit with an impedance lower than the compatible speaker impedance value (less than 4 ohms), as the AP25 may generate heat or catch fire in the worst case scenario.

If a speaker unit with a compatible speaker impedance value or higher (over 8 ohms) is connected, the volume may be low or the sound quality may be degraded.

Please use a speaker unit with a compatible impedance.

Q
Can I connect a selector to the end of the speaker output terminals to switch between multiple speakers?
A

Do not connect anything other than passive speakers of appropriate impedance to the speaker output terminals!
Connecting speaker switching switches, etc. may cause malfunction.

The black (-) side of the speaker output terminals is not a common left/right circuit.
The black (-) side of the speaker output terminal does not share the same chassis ground.

Connecting the speaker terminals to a selector that switches only the red (+) side, or to a device that shares the same chassis ground with the black (-) side, may cause a malfunction.

When switching connections, please replace the cables.

Also, please do not connect (wire) one speaker to multiple amplifiers.
