Features
input system
● Equipped with a microphone gain trim that can be set in 9 steps of -30 to -70dBu in 5dB steps, and P48V and T12V power supply.
A newly developed limiter that directly controls the gain of the microphone preamplifier is included. The new limiter provides a maximum gain reduction of 55dB and low distortion.
The attack and release times of the limiter are automatically controlled according to the input signal.
Equipped with an 80Hz or 160Hz, -6dB/oct. HPF at the first stage of input.

Equipped with an ATT that is continuously variable from 0 to -8dB in addition to output level switching of +4/-10/-60dBu.
Equipped with a headphone monitor output (stereo mini-jack) for convenient signal confirmation during sound acquisition.
Display and operation system
PEAK LED to indicate the clipping level of the mic preamp section.
TRIM, LIMITER, and POWER are located on the front panel for easy operation.
Equipped with a GR LED that indicates the amount of gain reduction of the limiter in four levels of brightness.
The GAIN TRIM uses a machined aluminum knob and a rotary encoder with a metal shaft for ease of operation and robustness.
The power LED also serves as a battery replacement warning indicator.

Two power sources are available: two AA batteries (alkaline or Ni-MH) and an external DC-IN (9-24V). When DC-IN is inserted, the built-in battery cannot be used.
Approximate operating time (at 20°C/60% humidity)
Alkaline batteries: Dynamic microphone: approx. 9 hours / T12V: approx. 5.5 hours / P48V: approx. 4.5 hours.
Nickel-hydrogen rechargeable battery: Dynamic microphone: approx. 9.5 hours / T12V: approx. 7 hours / P48V: approx. 6 hours.
housing
The chassis is made of hard aluminum and steel plates for a lightweight yet robust construction.
Equipped with a belt hook for convenient carrying on location.
