D2424LVmk2
Digital Multi-TrackerCF slot for backup is standard, and WAV file exchange with PC is supported. Professional 24-track for multiple applications.
Features
Professional 24-track for multiple applications
● Six uncompressed recording formats (16bit / 44.1kHz, 16bit / 48kHz, 24bit / 44.1kHz, 24bit / 48kHz, 24bit / 88.2kHz, 24bit / 96kHz) can be selected.
High-quality 24-bit ADDA converter (AK4528/AKM) is used.
24bit/48kHz to 16bit/44.1kHz format: 24tr + 32additional tr. 24bit/96kHz and 24bit/88.2kHz format: 8tr + 48additional tr.
24 channels of TRS phone balanced/+4dBu (switchable to unbalanced/ -10dBV) inputs enable not only simultaneous 24-tr recording in adatOPTICAL, but also simultaneous 24-track analog recording.
adatOPTICAL can be switched to S/P DIF.
*adatOPTICAL does not support 96/88.2 kHz.
Import/Export in WAV and DAT formats supported
● Interchangeable 3.5-inch E-IDE type hard disk. Recording time is approximately 15,100 minutes in 16bit/44.1kHz format and 4,600 minutes in 24bit/96kHz format (mono-track equivalent time when using 80GB HD.
HD is not included with the D2424LV. Please purchase separately.
Program data recorded on the HD can be saved/loaded to a FAT-formatted CF card in WAV or DAT (*FDMS-3) format.
WAV files can be exported to a FAT16/32 formatted CF card with a specified section of any track. When importing WAV files, it is also possible to specify tracks.
The maximum capacity that can be handled with FAT16 is 2 GB.
Saving to ADAT/DAT (44.1/48 kHz recording format only) is also supported.
Time Jump UNDO & Non-Destructive Editing
Non-destructive editing functions such as copy/paste/move/paste (up to 99 repeats can be specified) and erase.
Unlimited time jumps and multiple UNDO functions that allow the user to return to the pre-editing state using the date/time display as a guide (the number of UNDOs depends on the free disk space available).
Audio scrub function with envelope display. Preview of the edit point is also possible.
Digital scrubbing with jog dial and audio cueing with shuttle dial.
Track exchange function and track name setting function to swap any track.
A program select function for 99 songs that can be freely set to any song name.
Various locating functions
Program Chain Play function allows continuous playback of programs in any order. The program can be played in any order, and the AUTO PLAY/PAUSE mode can be specified. Useful for stage sound feeds.
Recall locate to 99 locate memories and PREV/NEXT locate are available.
Mark stop function enables automatic stop at the locate point.
Auto punch-in/out and auto return/play functions with rehearsal function.
ABS, MTC (LTC), and Bar/Beat time base.
Detachable controller can be extended up to 10m (with 2 x 8551B option).
● Equipped with AUTO EE mode that automatically switches to ALL INPUT monitor when stopped.
Remote punch-in/out by footswitch and PLAY/STOP operation are available.
Full synchronization/phase-alignment capability
● Extensive MIDI functions (MIDI clock & S.P.P. output with tempo map, MTC/MMC/Fostex System Exclusive).
MTC offset function allows ABS 0 to be set to any desired time.
Selectable slave modes. The ONCE mode automatically switches to self-propelled operation after a single CHASE LOCK, enabling construction of a synchronization system to suit the usage conditions.
WORD I/O is standard.
D-Sub 9-pin remote terminal is provided for control via RS-422 communication (Option 8346 must be installed when building a system with various editors compliant with the P2 protocol).
8346 Additional functions with TC/SYNC card installed
Slave operation to external LTC is possible. The CHASE offset function enables slave operation to external LTC/MTC while maintaining the time difference.
Phase alignment to external VIDEO signals enables system construction with various editors compliant with the P2 protocol.
Virtual timecode track function allows recording of internal timecode generators and external timecode.
ABS-converted timecode or timecode recorded on the virtual timecode track can be output to LTC.
In addition to generating time from the internal clock (RTC) or from a specified time (FREE RUN), a built-in timecode generator allows FORCE JAM with external timecode. It is also possible to record continuous virtual time code during recording (REC RUN).
Six timecode frame rates (24, 25, 30ND, 30DF, 29.97ND, 29.97DF) are supported.
