A simple, compact personal amplifier that uses a 15W+15W digital amplifier to easily connect a PC or media player to passive speakers for sound.

Features

This compact personal amplifier with a 15W+15W digital amplifier is a power-up of the popular AP05 personal amplifier with a 5W+5W analog amplifier, making it compatible with a wider variety of passive-type speakers.

Simply input various music sources such as PCs and media players, and connect passive speakers such as <P650K+P650-E>, <P800K+P800-E>, or <P1000K+P1000-E> from our Kansupi series to the speaker terminals. <P1000K+P1000-E>. Of course, a stereo mini cable (0.8m)/stereo RCA cable (1.5m), two speaker cables (1.5m), and an AC adapter are also included for connection.

In addition to the stereo mini jacks on the front panel, RCA pins are provided on the rear panel as input terminals, useful for permanently connecting a CD player or other input source.
Stereo mini-jacks have priority for input signals. Stereo mini jacks and RCA pins cannot be input simultaneously.

A large volume knob (20 mm dia.) is used for ease of operation.

Attention

*Do not use any power source other than the AC adapter supplied with the unit.

*Connect one speaker or speaker system with an impedance of 4 to 8 ohms directly to one output of this unit.

*The equipment that can be connected to the output of this unit is a passive speaker unit or speaker system without an amplifier. Do not connect the inputs or outputs of other devices (amplifiers, etc.).

Turn the power ON/OFF using the power switch that doubles as the volume volume control on the main unit. Turning the power ON/OFF with an external switch, etc., may damage the product or connected speakers.

FAQ

Q
What happens if I connect a speaker outside the compatible speaker impedance range?
A

Please do not do this as it may cause the AP15d to malfunction.

In particular, never use the AP15d with a speaker unit below the compatible speaker impedance value (4 ohms or less), as the AP15d may generate heat or catch fire in the worst case scenario.

If a speaker unit with a compatible speaker impedance value or higher (8 ohms or higher) is connected, the volume may be low or the sound quality may be degraded.

Please use a speaker unit with a compatible impedance.

Q
Can I connect a selector to the end of the speaker output terminals to switch between multiple speakers?
A
Do not connect anything other than passive speakers of appropriate impedance to the speaker output terminals!
Connecting speaker switching switches, etc. may cause malfunction.

The black (-) side of the speaker output terminals is not a common left/right circuit.
The black (-) side of the speaker output terminal does not share the same chassis ground.

Connecting the speaker terminals to a selector that switches only the red (+) side, or to a device that shares the same chassis ground with the black (-) side, may cause a malfunction.

When switching connections, please replace the cables.

Also, please do not connect (wire) one speaker to multiple amplifiers.
