This compact power amplifier is equipped with a 20W+20W (4Ω) digital amplifier. The circuit design uses carefully selected acoustic parts to achieve high sound quality, and can be easily connected to passive speakers such as the P802-S and P804-S to create a high-quality sound reproduction environment.
Simple design with focused functions
Easy connection to build a high-quality audio environment
Simply input various music sources such as a PC or media player, and connect passive speakers to the speaker terminals. A stereo mini cable (0.8m)/stereo RCA cable (1.5m) and two speaker cables (1.5m) are included for connection.
Equipped with two input terminals that can be selected according to the scene
Two input terminals are provided: RCA terminals on the rear panel and stereo mini terminals on the front panel. You can select the input terminal of your choice according to the installation location and playback equipment.
Stereo mini-jacks have priority for input signals. Stereo mini-jack and RCA cannot be input simultaneously.
Equipped with a pre-output terminal
System expansion is possible by connecting an active subwoofer, etc.
The PRE OUT terminal is equipped with a line-level output of the signal after the volume has been adjusted by the AP20d’s volume control. For example, when an active subwoofer is connected, the volume of the subwoofer is simultaneously adjusted in conjunction with the volume of the main speakers connected to the AP20d’s speaker outputs by operating the AP20d’s volume control, improving usability.
Equipped with an auto-standby function that complies with the European Eco-Design Directive for environmentally deployable designs
Equipped with an auto-standby function that automatically reduces power consumption. This function can be turned ON/OFF and the standby time can be set to either 5 minutes or 30 minutes using the dipswitch on the bottom of the unit, depending on the usage environment and application. This function avoids switching to standby mode at an unintended timing, such as when the output level on the playback device is turned down.

*The device that can be connected to the output of this unit is a passive speaker unit or speaker system without an amplifier. Do not connect the inputs or outputs of other devices (amplifiers, etc.).
