Update History

Version 1.25

USB AUDIO interface mode now supports 96 kHz.
Fixed a problem in which modulation noise might occur in USBUSB AUDIO interface mode.
Fixed a problem in which importing a WAV file recorded with the DC-R302 into Adobe Premiere would result in an abnormal termination.
This is due to a difference in the interpretation of the file header structure and does not affect the audio data.
Some menus have been reorganized in preparation for future enhancements.

Version 1.24

Fixed a problem in which 1 kHz slate tones were not being output from Mic out.

Version 1.23

Fixed support for older SD (e.g., 512MB).
Fixed a problem that caused repeated reboots when USB is connected in Windows 7.

Version 1.22

To customers using V.1.20
We have found that there is a problem with recorded files in the V.1.20 software.
If you are currently using a DC-R302 with software V.1.20, please update to the latest V.1.22.

To check the version of the software you are currently using, press and hold the MENU button on the main unit, and then press the same button several times until Version 1.XX is displayed.

Recording at 24Bit/88.2 and 96kHz is now supported.

Max File Size can now be selected from 2GB/4GB.
The Auto Continue function has been added, enabling recording to continue automatically with the file size set in Max File Size. This allows recording for long periods of time until the SD card is full.
USB Mass Storage Class functionality has been added, allowing the DC-R302’s built-in SD card to be mounted on a PC via USB.
WindowsXP mode is added to USB AUDIO mode.
If you use the DC-R302 with MacOS, Windows Vista or Windows 7, please use the existing USB AUDIO mode.
The DC-R302 can now be used as a USB AUDIO interface on the iPad via the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit, although this is not supported.
We do not guarantee that the DC-R302 will work with the iPad. Please use at your own risk.
Minor bugs have been fixed.
