A simple, ultra-compact personal amplifier that can easily connect a PC or portable player to the speakers.
Features
● A compact, card-sized 5W+5W analog amplifier, simply input various music sources from a PC or media player, and connect speakers such as <P800K+P800-E> or <P1000K+P1000-E> to the speaker terminals. Of course, two stereo mini cables (0.8m) and two speaker cables (1.5m) for connection and an AC adapter are included.
● Complies with the ErP Directive, the EU’s environmental deployment design, known as the Ecodesign Directive. When the volume remains below a certain level for about 15 minutes, the unit automatically switches to standby mode, the power indicator changes from green to red, and the power consumption is reduced to about 0.4W. When an input signal is received again in the standby mode, the power is automatically turned on and music can be enjoyed.
Caution when used in combination with a channel divider
Please note the following when using this unit in combination with our product “Stereo 2-way type Channel Splitter EN15” or the stereo 2-way type channel splitter that is included in the November 19, 2014 issue of [ONTOMO MOOK] “How to Double the Enjoyment of Speakers Using Multi-Amplifiers”. Please note the following when using this unit in combination with the stereo 2-way channel divider included in “How to Double the Enjoyment of Speakers with Multi-Amplifiers.
This product is equipped with a standby mode that complies with the ErP Directive, an EU environmentally friendly design. If there is no signal (including cases where the signal is very small) for approximately 15 minutes, the unit automatically switches to standby mode and stops outputting signals.
When two units are used, one unit (Hi/Lo) should be used for each channel to prevent switching to standby mode (switching to standby mode may occur depending on the music being played and the equipment being combined).
If you wish to experiment with multi-amping, we recommend the AP15d, which does not have standby mode and has more power.

Attention
*Do not use any power source other than the AC adapter supplied with the unit.
*Connect a speaker or speaker system with an impedance of 8 to 16 ohms directly to one output of this unit.
*The equipment that can be connected to the output of this unit is a passive speaker unit or speaker system without an amplifier. Do not connect the inputs or outputs of other devices (amplifiers, etc.).
*The auto standby function may not operate properly depending on the output noise level of the playback device connected to the input terminals of this unit.
*The standby mode may operate when the volume on the playback device is being used at a low level (low volume). In this case, raising the volume of the playback device may improve the problem.
Please use the power switch that doubles as the volume volume control of the main unit to turn the power on and off; turning the power on and off with a switch on a power strip or the like to which the AC adapter is connected may damage this product or the connected speakers.
