Add-on subwoofer" dedicated to music
Pursued high musicality in low frequency reproduction.

Features

Sealed cabinet

Like the high-end CW250B, the basic design of the cabinet is rigid and sealed to accurately reproduce ultra-low frequencies and to disperse resonance. The baffle board is made of two different materials, 18 mm CE plywood (camphor wood/eucalyptus plywood) and 15 mm MDF, to achieve both rigidity and loss, while the top and bottom sides and rear sides are made of different materials and thickness to achieve both high strength and vibration dispersion. In addition, the amplifier section is housed in an independent chamber to avoid the influence of internal pressure.

25 mm long stroke high efficiency 20 cm woofer

The lowest note of a 5-string double bass, 32 Hz, is fully reproduced, and the 16 Hz of a pipe organ can also be felt. The woofer has a high-performance diaphragm made of a mixture of BKP pulp and Kepler driven by a powerful magnetic circuit (0.9 Tesla). The edges are made of SBR foam rubber, which is durable, lightweight, and has high internal loss to reduce natural sound.

Various connection methods for musical enjoyment and excitement

Connect the pre-output of the amplifier to the LINEINPUT of the amplifier.
Connect the speaker outputs of the amplifier to the SPEAKERINPUT of the amplifier, and from the SPEKEROUTPUT of the amplifier to the speaker system.
Connect the speaker system to the amplifier as usual, and connect the L and R sides to the SPEAKERINPUT of the amplifier.

Use two units, one for the L side and one for the R side, for stereo playback. Using one unit on each side will reproduce the realistic sound of a concert hall.

Optimal crossover for add-ons

The crossover frequency of the low-pass filter can be continuously controlled in the range of 50Hz to 150Hz according to the combined speaker system. The cutoff characteristic of the crossover point is set at 12dB/oct for the most natural synthesis when using add-ons, allowing for clear sound field reproduction.
