3-channel audio mixer and stereo recorder ideal for video recording with a camera. Equipped with a phantom power supply and limiter, high-quality audio can be recorded to SD card at the same time as the camera. The camera mounting bracket can be removed to create a full-fledged portable mixer and recorder.

Features
Analog 3-channel audio mixer with digital stereo recorder. Miniaturized filming system.
Mounting bracket is removable for direct mounting on the camera. Mounting position can be adjusted. A screw for tripod mounting is also provided at the bottom.
Stereo WAV files can be recorded to SD (SDHC) cards at 16/24bit*, Fs 44.1-96kHz.
*SDXC cards cannot be used.
*16bit is 44.1/48 kHz only.
*24bit/88.2 to 96kHz recording is a feature added in firmware Ver. 1.2.
Lightweight and robust housing made of extruded aluminum. Retains its toughness to resist deflection even when mounted on a camera, tripod, rig, etc.
Camera, microphone, and stands are not included.
The camera mounting bracket can be removed for use as a stand-alone portable recorder with high sound quality.
When EX-RT1 is mounted
Remote control of a compatible SLR camera is possible by infrared light emission or by wired connection using the recording START/STOP function of the DC-R302.
Infrared remote control is based on the assumption that the camera is mounted on the camera mount bracket of the DC-R302.
*The optional EX-RT1 and ET-RT1 (sold separately) may be required depending on the camera used.
● Recording can be started and stopped using a commercially available wired remote control (compatible with Panasonic DMW-RS1).
Infrared Remote
Compatible with Canon camera models that are equipped with an infrared receiver on the main body and capable of starting/stopping recording by infrared light.
Tested models: EOS 5Dmk3, EOS 5Dmk2, EOS 7D, EOS 60D, EOS 70D, EOS X5
Wired remote
Compatible with models equipped with a wired remote terminal and capable of starting/stopping recording via wired remote.

*The GH1/GH2 cannot use the external microphone input when using the remote due to camera specifications.
A dedicated remote cable ET-RT1 series is required for connection.
Inputs are available from mic to line level. Limiter and HPF on each channel. Reduces distortion and unwanted bass components caused by excessive input.
The standard input level for line is -10dBu. Please note that it is not +4dBu, which is the professional standard.
USB AUDIO input/output is also supported, allowing the DC-R302 to be used as an audio interface for a PC.
USB AUDIO is a function added in the DC-R302 firmware Ver. 1.10.
Operates with standard OS drivers for Windows XP/Vista/7 and MacOSX 10.6 or higher.
Phantom 48V power supply. High-performance condenser microphones can be used.
Equipped with line output and microphone level output. Mixed audio can be sent to the camera’s audio input.
Headphone output for monitoring can be selected from L/STEREO/R/RETURN.
● Automatic slate tone (1 kHz/sine wave) vocalization function for convenient sound matching during editing. Tone oscillation with a beep at the start/end of recording.
Power can be supplied by a dedicated battery case (AA batteries x 4) or external DC (9 to 24V).
For AC adapter, use FOSTEX AD15-3200 (standard price ¥4,200/tax included).
