The FE-En series is a full range in the Fostex tradition. With a bright, clear sound, the FE-En series offers a wide range of products from 8 cm to 20 cm.
About ES Cone
The raw material of ES corn is a perennial plant belonging to the Basho family.
The fibers obtained from the plant are thin, long, flexible, and have good physical properties. One of the characteristics of these fibers is that they contain starch, which makes the fibers bond tightly together and reduces the noise (paper smell) caused by fiber rubbing against each other, which is a characteristic of conventional pulp.
However, this starch makes it difficult to form corn paper, and it could not be used as corn paper. We have succeeded in developing cone paper by applying traditional Japanese paper manufacturing technology to this problem.
The ES cone has thin, flexible fibers that intertwine well with each other, a wide cross-sectional fiber shape, and a high aspect ratio, resulting in a diaphragm with very low loss and a dramatically increased information content.
