The speaker's presence disappears and the artist's heartbeat appears.

High fidelity reproduction" and "expression of the emotion and heart of music".

A new 3-way floor standing speaker was born in the G Series, which pursues these two themes.

All drivers use pure magnesium diaphragms, and the enclosure and network have undergone repeated hearings to achieve smooth, natural, and seamless sound quality.

Features

Tweeter (Net for diaphragm protection is removed) Woofer & Bottom woofer

All drivers use a pure magnesium diaphragm (99.9% purity), which has an established reputation.

A 20mm ridge-dome shaped pure magnesium diaphragm[* 1] is used for the tweeter, and an HR-shaped pure magnesium diaphragm[* 2], which is highly rigid and effective in dispersing resonance, is used for the woofer and bottom woofer, thus achieving identical diaphragm materials for all drivers. This allows the diaphragm itself to have the same timbre, naturally reproducing the resonance and reverberation of each musical instrument and achieving attractive bass sound reproduction that makes the listener feel no sense of size.

[1] Uniquely developed pure magnesium diaphragm with an atypical cross-sectional shape.

[2] Uniquely developed pure magnesium diaphragm with HR (Hyperbolic Paraboloidal Rotation) shape.

Newly developed zinc die-cast frame

Newly developed high specific gravity zinc die-cast frame for woofer and bottom woofer

In order to take advantage of the high internal loss and the uniqueness of the pure magnesium diaphragm, attention was paid to the frame material. By using a zinc die-cast frame, which has a higher specific gravity than the conventional aluminum die-cast frame, vibrations caused by the reaction of the diaphragm amplitude are less likely to be transmitted from the enclosure to the sound field space, allowing the listener to feel a real sense of silence as the sound disappears.

Specific Gravity / Aluminum 2.69 : Zinc 7.13
Weight / Aluminum die-cast frame: 172g / Zinc die-cast frame: 310g

Slim enclosure

The enclosure is a slim floor standing type for ease of installation. The baffle is made of 33mm-thick CE plywood[*3] (camphor/eucalyptus plywood) laminated for acoustic purposes to support each driver firmly, and CE plywood (18mm) is used on the top, bottom, left, and right sides to align the sound. MDF (15mm) is used on the back of the enclosure to dampen vibrations appropriately. The space between the bottom of the enclosure and the baseboard is left open, so that radiation from the bottom is not suppressed and a three-dimensional sound field is achieved,
This allows for a three-dimensional expression of the sound field.

[3] CE plywood: Plywood developed by Foster’s, specially designed for acoustics with hard camphor wood placed vertically and soft eucalyptus wood placed horizontally.
