G1300

A pure audio compact speaker system that pursues the fusion of musicality with the theme of high-fidelity reproduction, taking over the concept of studio monitors.

Features

We want to connect the production site with the listening room.

The RS-N2 has been highly acclaimed for its precision reproduction capability, and is used by major broadcast stations and other production sites. With this in mind, the G1300 was born by transplanting two units.
Pure magnesium, which had ideal properties as an acoustic material but was difficult to process, and the diaphragm, which was light and strong but difficult to achieve the ideal shape.
The tweeter and woofer, born from the pursuit of these ideal forms, reproduce mid and high frequencies with high transparency and good visibility, and the speedy bass sound that we have always been pursuing unifies all sound levels, demonstrating the natural connection and ability to delineate details to the fullest.

20mm ridge-dome pure magnesium tweeter

A pure magnesium diaphragm is used to achieve the same supple, thick reproduction and high responsiveness of metal as a soft dome, resulting in natural mid and high frequencies with a high degree of transparency.
The crossover frequency is set at 1.6kHz to achieve a sense of substance and pinpoint localization of the sound image, and the dome tweeter has an unusually wide bandwidth for a 20mm dome tweeter.
In addition, a newly developed ridge dome with a different distance from the voice coil to the dome tip is used to eliminate the inherent noise caused by the shape of the dome, and a thorough elimination of inherent coloration is sought from the material and structural aspects.

Short voice coil 13cm HR woofer

The woofer adopts the HR shape, which was developed by adding new paper-making technology to the HP diaphragm, which was developed as a light and strong diaphragm shape that suppresses inherent resonance.

For the magnetic circuit, a large 120 mm dia. ferrite magnet is used, and by obtaining its powerful magnetic flux, a short voice coil specification is adopted for the first time to realize low distortion and excellent response.
The diaphragm material is based on banana pulp, which has strong fiber-to-fiber bonding strength, and is blended with several new materials, including highly elastic carbon, using our proprietary paper-making technology to create a light and strong diaphragm with no habitual characteristics.

We aimed for high speed reproduction by taking advantage of the small diameter of 13cm by approaching it from various angles to reproduce bass sound with a core and high responsiveness.

Zinc die-cast frame

A zinc die-cast frame is used for both the woofer and tweeter. The zinc die-cast frame has higher specific gravity and rigidity than the aluminum die-cast frame, and has moderate Q to suppress the distortion caused by the frame, resulting in controlled bass sound reproduction.

MID Controller

The G1300 is equipped with a MID controller to flexibly adapt to the listening environment. This controller does not change the sensitivity of the entire tweeter band like a conventional tweeter attenuator, but rather controls the connection between the woofer and the tweeter.
Since the controller is not connected in series with the tweeter, it does not change the highest frequencies, thus providing superior adjustability without any degradation of sound quality that might be a concern.

High-quality network components / Bi-wiring copper machined gold-plated terminals

The input terminals are machined from copper and gold-plated in consideration of contact loss, and are compatible with bi-wiring. We also pay close attention to the sound quality change caused by the short bar when bi-wiring is not used, and use the copper/silver alloy wire used for the internal wiring as the short bar to prevent deterioration of sound quality.

The coils and capacitors used in the network are luxurious network elements beyond their class, using high-quality, low-loss OFC copper foil coils and capacitors developed for loudspeaker craft use.

Beech plywood enclosure

For the enclosure material, high-density beech plywood was used to emphasize the resonance of natural wood, and MDF was used for the back plate to adjust the resonance and provide a natural and clear sound. The finish is a vertical grain natural beech veneer with a piano luster paint finish.
