The traditionally designed bookshelf enclosure with its nostalgic grille, combined with the English walnut wood grain finish, makes it easy to blend in with interiors and evokes a sense of serenity.

The full-range unit, the symbol of Fostex, is composed of carefully selected parts. The use of our proprietary dual-layer cone paper, alnico magnets, and copper caps, among other technologies, ensures a well-balanced harmony between the dynamic low frequency range, the clear midrange with excellent voice expression, and the well-developed high frequency range, bringing out the full appeal of the music.

The bass-reflex enclosure was tuned to provide optimal acoustical conditions, not only in terms of acoustic performance, but also with a focus on how music should be enjoyed in a relaxed manner. The materials and thicknesses of the plates were selected in consideration of balance so that resonance is dispersed while ensuring rigidity, two types of sound-absorbing materials with different roles were placed in the right places, and the bass-reflex port was tuned to provide a good balance of both volume and texture.
