The traditionally designed bookshelf enclosure with its nostalgic grille, combined with the English walnut wood grain finish, makes it easy to blend in with interiors and evokes a sense of serenity.

The full-range unit, the symbol of Fostex, is composed of carefully selected parts. The use of our proprietary dual-layer cone paper, alnico magnets, and copper caps, among other technologies, ensures a well-balanced harmony between the dynamic low frequency range, the clear midrange with excellent voice expression, and the well-developed high frequency range, bringing out the full appeal of the music.

The bass-reflex enclosure was tuned to provide optimal acoustical conditions, not only in terms of acoustic performance, but also with a focus on how music should be enjoyed in a relaxed manner. Careful adjustments were made throughout the enclosure, including the material and thickness of the plates, which were selected for their balance to disperse resonance while ensuring rigidity; the use of two types of sound-absorbing materials with different roles in the right places; and the tuning of the bass-reflex port to provide a good balance of both volume and texture.
