I want to enjoy music without worrying about size."
Focus on reproducibility of low frequency range, a basic element of music reproduction

Features

Tweeter and woofer diaphragms
The tweeter uses a 20 mm ridge-dome diaphragm made of pure magnesium (99.9% purity), which has an established reputation. This disperses resonance caused by split vibrations, allowing you to fully enjoy the moist singing of female vocalists and the resonance of violins with their rich overtone components. The woofer uses an HR-shaped* 10 cm aluminum alloy diaphragm, which disperses split vibrations, suppressing squeal and maximizing the rigidity and high propagation speed of the metal diaphragm. This enables improved reproduction of low-frequency frequencies, the basic element of music, and faster reproduction.

CE plywood cabinet dedicated to acoustics
In order to reproduce rich resonance, the basic philosophy that has been followed since the first-generation GX100 (released in February 2009) was retained, with the baffle plate supporting the unit made of 18 mm thick CE plywood developed exclusively for acoustic use (alternately laminated camphor and eucalyptus, which have different hardness and density, to achieve a balance between rigidity and loss). The top, center, left and right side panels are made of 18 mm thick CE plywood. The top, center, left and right side panels are made of CE plywood (15 mm), which is the same material as the baffle panels, to ensure adequate rigidity and to harmonize the resonance and reverberation. DF (15 mm) was used for the back plate to ensure proper convergence of vibration.

*The back plate is made of DF (15 ㎜) to ensure proper convergence of vibrations. This shape is ideal for metallic materials with low internal loss to disperse resonance caused by split vibrations as well as to obtain light weight and high rigidity.
