The usual music, shining wonderfully.

We want to bring even more enjoyment to the hearts that love music.
The technology of the monitor concept inherited from this desire
the excellence of the artist's creation.
The usual music in the usual room.
Now, unprecedented brilliance begins to overflow there.

Features

HR-shaped aluminum alloy diaphragm woofer

Expanding on the pure magnesium HR scorcher technology developed for the G2000, we have developed a diaphragm made of an aluminum alloy molded into an HR shape.

This allows resonance caused by split vibration to be dispersed, maximizing the diaphragm’s sound quality and realizing high-density, habit-free, and straightforward reproduction of the fundamental frequency range.

The best matching of the cabinet and the network also provides a bass reproduction capability that exceeds its class, and the attack sound is clear and thick.

In addition, a drive system with 40% more drive power than the GX100 woofer has been developed to improve the power of individual instruments and enhance the vocal bandwidth.

The result is a woofer with a high acoustic energy potential that is hard to believe for a small woofer.

The bottom woofer has been optimized (voice coil mass adjustment, etc.) to increase equivalent mass and support the bottom end.

Ridge-dome magnesium alloy diaphragm tweeter

By forming a magnesium alloy with the second best properties after pure magnesium into a dome shape with ridges, resonance caused by split vibrations can be dispersed as in a woofer, maximizing the sound quality of the high propagation velocity diaphragm.

The GX102’s high propagation velocity diaphragm maximizes the sound quality of the diaphragm, allowing the listener to hear the soft, gentle sound of a female vocalist or the clear, rich overtone of a violin. Two ring-shaped neodymium magnets are used to form the GX102’s vertical twin.

The small size of the tweeter is made possible by the use of a compact, high magnetic force magnetic circuit.

High-grade network components and gold-plated input terminals

The network components consist of air-core coils and high-quality film capacitors.

The capacitor connected in series with the tweeter uses a newly developed film capacitor with copper-silver alloy wires in the drawer, which was developed for the G2000.

The two woofers, which receive the fundamental frequency range, are each equipped with a network circuit using independent coils and capacitors to suppress electrical mutual interference generated through the elements of the network, which causes muddiness, and to achieve a clear reproduction sound.

In addition, the GX103 uses a large silicon copper-plate core-filled coil in the woofer that handles the bottom end.

OFC concentric stranded wires are used for the internal wiring, and the contact points are caulked with gold-plated sleeves to prevent deterioration of sound quality.

Plywood cabinet dedicated to high sound quality acoustics

The CE plywood (camphor/eucalyptus plywood) used in the G Series top model G2000 is used for the baffle, top and base plates, and left and right sides, and MDF is used for the back surface to optimize the strength of the board thickness in each section, thereby holding the unit firmly in place and improving clarity while achieving rich sound quality.

The final finish is a natural maple veneer with a glossy coating to achieve a high quality feel.

MID Controller

The same MID controller as the G series is used. Fine tuning is possible in the range of +1dB to -2dB for 1.6kHz to 6kHz, which is near the most sensitive bandwidth in terms of hearing.

The circuit configuration is such that signals flowing through the controller do not flow to the tweeters, so there is almost no deterioration in sound quality.

Twin cell duct

Twin cell ducts are used to provide ducts in optimal locations (behind the woofer).

This enables the best bass reflex operation with high S/N and realizes volume and dynamic bass sound.
