Even the air of a concert hall is reproduced.

The lowest frequencies of the orchestra are received by the bottom woofer.
In the two woofers located above it,
The two woofers located above the bottom woofer have twin cell ducts optimally placed on their rear surfaces,
The two woofers located above the bottom woofer produce a rich sense of volume and dynamism.
The pure magnesium diaphragm clearly expresses delicate overtones such as violins.
Enjoy the full orchestra in front of you from a special seat.

The highly popular pure magnesium diaphragm is mounted on a compact high-performance tweeter using a neodymium magnet. The cabinet is finished with a beautiful piano luster paint.

Features

Combines pure audio and surround sound at a high level

With its tall-boy design, the GX103MA produces powerful, full bass and rich mid-bass that one would not expect from its slender form, thanks to a dedicated bottom woofer unit and a dedicated bottom woofer box, smoothly reproducing a wide, deep soundstage and a powerful, lifelike sound image.

The high basic performance conveys the full scale of a full orchestra, the dynamism of jazz, and the power of rock music, achieving both the quality of pure audio and the presence of a surround system at a high level.

20mm pure magnesium
Ridge-dome shaped diaphragm tweeter

The tweeter has been changed from a conventional magnesium alloy diaphragm to a pure magnesium diaphragm.

Pure magnesium (99.9% purity), which is used in the G2000 and GX100MA, is a suitable material for the diaphragm because it has a lower specific gravity and greater internal loss than other metals.

The ridge-dome shape of the diaphragm disperses split vibrations, and the use of two ring-type neodymium magnets with powerful magnetic force, which have been used in the GX100MA, makes the tweeter compact and high-performance.

The tweeter enables the listener to enjoy the soft and gentle singing of female vocalists and the clear and rich overtone of a violin.

Improved driving force than before
Equipped with a 10cm aluminum alloy HR-shaped diaphragm woofer

An aluminum alloy diaphragm molded into an HR shape is used, inherited from the GX102 and GX103.

The HR shape disperses split vibrations, suppressing squeal and maximizing the metal diaphragm’s excellent properties of high rigidity and high propagation velocity.

The woofer has more than 40% higher driving force than that of the woofer in the GX100MA, and by achieving a high musical energy potential that is hard to believe for a small diameter woofer, a more powerful and dense mid-low range, a more realistic sound image, and a wider sound field are realized.

High-quality sound cabinet using CE plywood dedicated to acoustics and
Piano luster paint for beautiful and high quality sound

The GX103MA is painted with a beautiful piano luster finish that is produced through a process of hand-painting each unit.

CE plywood (camphor wood and eucalyptus wood) is a special acoustic plywood developed by G2000 that combines two different materials with different strength and density.

The CE plywood is used for the baffle, top, bottom, left and right sides, and the back plate is MDF. By adjusting the thickness of the plywood in each section to optimize the distribution of rigidity, a quiet and transparent sound field is achieved, and rich and smooth reproduction is realized.

In addition, the grille net protecting the speakers is magnetically adsorbed, eliminating protrusions from the baffle and contributing to improved sound field reproduction.

MID Controller

The same MID controller as the G series is used.

By fine-tuning the range of +1dB to -2dB between 1.6kHz and 6kHz, near the most sensitive bandwidth of the auditory sense, it can adapt to changes in the playback environment and diverse preferences.

Since the circuit configuration is such that signals flowing through the controller do not flow to the tweeters, there is almost no deterioration in sound quality.

Twin cell duct

In the GX103MA, twin cell ducts are used and ducts are located at the optimum position (behind the woofer).

This enables the best bass reflex operation with high S/N ratio. Combined with the staggered bass reflex system, the GX103MA delivers bass with even greater volume and dynamism.

Separate Network &
Machined copper gold-plated terminals

Independent capacitors/coils are used for each of the two woofers that handle the fundamental bandwidth, eliminating electrical mutual interference through the network elements that can cause muddiness, resulting in a clear and accurate reproduction sound.

Internal wiring uses copper/silver alloy coaxial stranded wires (GX100MA and GX102MA) or OFC coaxial stranded wires (GX103MA), and the contacts are caulked with gold-plated sleeves to prevent deterioration of sound quality. The input terminals are machined from copper and gold-plated to minimize contact loss.
