Attention! Regarding the problem of operation between HP-P1 with firmware 1.1.1 and iPod Classic
When HP-P1 is connected to an iOS device such as iPhone, iPod Touch, etc., and HP-P1 is turned off, the iOS device synchronizes with the off operation and goes to sleep. When the HP-P1 is turned on again, the iOS device automatically wakes up from sleep mode and becomes ready to play from the point where it was stopped before the HP-P1 was turned off. However, if an iPod Classic that is not an iOS device is connected to the HP-P1
1・iPod Classic will not go into sleep mode even if the HP-P1 is turned off.
2・If HP-P1 is turned off while iPod Classic is playing, iPod Classic will not stop and will continue to play.
3・If I press the playback button (▸|||) on iPod Classic after turning off/on HP-P1, iPod Classic does not start playing.
The following phenomena have been confirmed.
This is due to the fact that the HP-P1 firmware is optimized to work with iOS devices.
How to avoid the problem described in 3. above
If you press the playback button (▸||) on the iPod Classic after turning off/on the HP-P1, but playback does not start, press the NEXT button (▸▸|) on the iPod Classic to return to the normal operating state.
By updating the firmware of HP-P1 to Ver.1.1.2, it will work more stably with iPod Classic.
After updating the firmware to Ver.1.1.2, if you press the playback button (▸||) on the iPod Classic after turning off/on the HP-P1, but it still does not play, please turn off/on the HP-P1 several times or press the NEXT button (▸▸|) on the iPod Classic. (▸▸|) on the iPod Classic.
