Features
● Up to 5 outputs can be switched to compare the sound quality of active speakers or amplifier + passive speakers connected to the IS205 with a single touch. For example, while playing the main speakers and subwoofer at the same time, you can turn on/off only the subwoofer output to check the effect of heavy bass.
Two input systems are provided, an RCA pin jack on the rear panel and a stereo mini jack on the front panel, allowing one-touch switching between two sources, such as a CD player and a portable media player. An input volume control is also provided for volume adjustment.
A high-performance relay circuit is used for input/output signal switching to ensure stable operation.
An “automatic switching function” is provided. The DIP switch on the rear panel can be set to automatically switch outputs 1 to 4 continuously at intervals of 5 to 35 seconds (in 5-second increments).
The switches for outputs 1 to 5 can be individually enabled/disabled, and the durable two-color LED-illuminated push-switches provide excellent visibility. The speaker being played can be recognized at a glance, with “yellow” being selected and “green” being unselected (“unlit” disables the switch). This is also useful for confirming the selection during the “automatic switching function”.
The “auto standby function” is designed to conserve energy by automatically entering standby mode and reducing power consumption to 0.5W or less after approximately 4 hours of no output selection. This function can also be turned ON/OFF by setting the DIP switch on the rear panel.
