NF-4A
Powered Nearfield Studio MonitorCompact powered near-field monitors that realize the essence of studio monitors in a small space.
Features
The latest digital technology is used to pursue reproduction capability to the utmost limit of precision.
The essence of a studio monitor is realized in a small space.
Adoption of a 10cm woofer unit with a next-generation “HR diaphragm” shape that suppresses unwanted resonance. Equipped with one of the largest magnetic circuits in its class, it reproduces low frequency beyond its size with high speed and low distortion.
Pure magnesium tweeter” is adopted, which has excellent response without inherent metallic habit. The ridge dome-shaped diaphragm, which suppresses unwanted peaks through dispersed resonance, naturally reproduces high-density mid and high frequencies with a large amount of information.
Highly rigid enclosure made of 24mm (baffle) / 18mm thick plywood. The amplifier section is rigidly mounted on an 18mm-thick backboard to eliminate adverse effects caused by internal sound pressure.
High output amplifier with a total output of 95W (60W in the low frequency range and 35W in the high frequency range). The digital/analog combined Bi-AMP realizes an ideal drive system.
The 72-bit high-precision DSP realizes high-precision system EQ and time alignment with excellent phase characteristics.
Dual A/D and D/A with 96kHz 24-bit precision are used to expand dynamic range and quantization accuracy.
Built-in low-cut filter to prevent low-frequency exposure when a subwoofer is used, enabling a wide range of installation and use.
Dual A/D and D/A with 96kHz 24-bit precision and an input sensitivity setting switch to take advantage of the D/A. ● Appropriate level matching can be performed for both consumer and professional-use equipment.
EQ dipswitch for adjusting high-frequency correction, low-frequency correction, low-cut filter attenuation characteristics, etc.
● Tweeter level can be adjusted in the range of ±3dB.
