USB input compatible volume controller with DAC.
The RCA pin jacks (output) are used to transmit the digital output of a PC via USB and convert it to analog inside the unit for connection to PM0.4n, etc., while the PHONES jack is used to connect headphones, allowing the unit to be used as a headphone amplifier.
When headphones or other devices are connected to the PHONES jack, they are not output to the RCA pin jacks (output).
USB bus-powered operation eliminates the need for a separate power source.
The volume control knob is machined from aluminum and has a good operating feel due to its moderate weight.
The black metal body is used.
The PM0.4n is a powered monitor with separate volume controls for left and right volume, making it easier to use when listening to music or watching movies on a PC.
Two USB2.0 cables (AB type / 1m) and two RCA pin cables (1m) are included. Two USB 2.0 cables (AB type / 1m) and two RCA pin cables (1m) are included, allowing immediate use by connecting to a PC or PM0.4n without the need to purchase additional cables.
USB bus-powered operation eliminates the need for a separate power source. It also operates with standard Windows and MacOS drivers (compatible OS: Windows 7 or higher, Mac OS X V10.6 to macOS10.12Sierra).
*Not compatible with non-PC devices such as portable players.
Depending on the OS and playback software used, it may be necessary to select (switch) the device as the playback device in the settings, etc.
*Cannot be used with playback software that uses a dedicated driver other than the OS standard USB Audio driver.
Small size that does not get in the way on the desktop.
