Main Features

Equipped with a USB DAC, the PC100USB-HR2 can be connected to active speakers and headphones such as PM series.
Basic functions are equivalent to those of the PC100USB-HR2.

The PC100USB is a 24bit/96kHz Hi-Resolution compatible version of the PC100USB, which has become a standard PC gadget with convenient volume control at your fingertips. While maintaining the compact body, PC100USB’s capacitors, DAC, operational amplifiers, and other key parts have been reviewed to achieve higher sound quality.

The PC100USB is equipped with a DAC, RCA pin jacks (output) for connection to active speakers such as the PM series, and a PHONES jack for connecting headphones. It can also be used as a headphone amplifier.
When headphones or other devices are connected to the PHONES jack, they are not output to the RCA pin jacks (output).

USB bus-powered operation eliminates the need for a separate power source. It is also a simple high-resolution device that can be connected to a Windows or MAC OS vasocomputer and operates without the need for drivers (compatible OS: Windows 7 or higher, Mac OS X V10.6 ~ macOS10.12Sierra).

Depending on the OS and playback software used, it may be necessary to select (switch) the device as a playback device in the settings, etc.

*Cannot be used with playback software that uses a dedicated driver other than the OS standard USB Audio driver.

Includes one USB 2.0 cable (AB type/1m) and two RCA pin cables (1m). ●One USB 2.0 cable (AB type/1m) and two RCA pin cables (1m) are included for immediate use by connecting to a PC or active speakers without the need to purchase additional cables.

A

This product can only be used on PCs equipped with Windows and Mac OSX.

Q
No sound.
A

Depending on the OS and playback software used, it may be necessary to select (switch) the device as a playback device in the settings. Please check the settings.

If the sound output is normal, the unit is working properly. Please check the playback software settings.

Q
The color of the (LINK) indicator does not change from green when a high-resolution file is played.
A
Is the sound-related setting of the computer you are using set to 48 kHz or lower?

In Windows, is the sound setting in the Control Panel, and in MacOS, is the sound setting in the System Preferences set to 48 kHz or lower?

The sampling rate of the final audio data output from the PC is determined by the PC settings.
Even if you play a 96 kHz file, if the PC is set to 48 kHz, it will be down-converted to 48 kHz and output.
Conversely, a 48 kHz file will be up-converted and output if the computer is set to 96 kHz.

Please check your computer settings.
