Features
The 3-way speaker, consisting of a 16cm woofer, 10cm mid and 19mm tweeter, is driven by independent 50W/18W/18W amplifiers to deliver a powerful and full midrange.
The built-in channel divider realizes an ideal frequency cross, smoothly connecting the superior frequency bands of each speaker unit.
● The left-right separate specification, in which the mid and tweeter are symmetrically positioned when the speakers are installed, minimizes the enclosure box size while suppressing diffraction effects.
Woofer and mid are spatially independent in the enclosure to prevent interference between the speaker units.
The HIGH and LOW level adjustment switches (HIGH FREQ: +1/0/1dB, LOW FREQ: +3/0/3dB) allow for fine-tuned compensation according to installation location, room characteristics, and other factors.
● Kevlar is used for the woofer and mid diaphragms. Fostex’s proprietary paper-making technology provides high strength and moderate internal loss, making it suitable for a wide variety of genres of sources.
The tweeter diaphragm uses a UFLC soft dome to achieve high-frequency reproduction without losing the transparency of the music source.
The front baffle is finished with a high-grade glossy black finish (exclusive specification for Japan).
Two balanced inputs are provided: a TRS phone jack and an XLR jack (priority is given to the TRS phone jack).
