This product is a limited production revival model of the TH610. After numerous requests a TH610 re-release since its discontinuation in 2023, a limited number of units will be manufactured at Fostex’s domestic facility in Japan. This premium model offers a closed housing made of solid black walnut wood and the much-renowned Biodyna diaphragm.

Profile
Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1976.
Lead vocalist and guitarist of ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, responsible for writing lyrics and composing most of the band’s songs. Has released 11 original albums through Ki/oon Music (Sony).
In 2010, he established his own label “only in dreams.” Beyond music, he is also known for his literary work including essays and novels, and as editor-in-chief of “THE FUTURE TIMES,” a newspaper ex-ploring our future through discussions about the new era and upcoming society. Since 2018, he has been drawing attention for his socially conscious activities, including the establishment of “APPLE VINEGAR -Music Award-,” a prize awarded to albums released by emerging musicians.
In May 2024, he established the “NPO APPLE VINEGAR Music Support Organization” in Fujieda City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The organization supports independent musicians and artists, and plans to build “Music Inn Fujieda,” a residential music production studio (scheduled for completion in autumn 2025) in Fujieda City.
He has released three albums under the name “Gotch.”
In March 2024, he released his first musical work under the name “Masafumi Gotoh,” a drone/ambient album titled “Recent Report I” via streaming platforms.
His published works include “Nandodemo All Right to Utae,” “YOROZU: Mousou no Minzokushi,” “Kootta Noumiso,” “INU COMMUNICATION,” and “Gotoh Masafumi no Asa kara Rock,” among others.

The housing is made of solid natural wood.
Therefore, there may be differences in grain, bark, coloration, knots, etc. in each item, but this will not affect the sound quality.

The sealed housing made from solid black walnut wood, whose beautiful grain allows you to enjoy the natural texture of the wood, reproduces a lustrous and natural sound.

BioDyna diaphragm driver containing ultra-fine bio-cellulose fiber material
The in-house driver unit, developed using proprietary technologies accumulated over many years, combines bio-cellulose fiber with other fibers and other materials on the diaphragm under optimal conditions to achieve low specific gravity, high Young’s modulus, and high internal loss. The low distortion rate and ultra-strong magnetic circuit with a magnetic flux density of 1 Tesla and the good linearity of the free edge provide excellent responsiveness and a vast dynamic range over the entire bandwidth, as well as beautiful reproduction of delicate, highly resolved mid and high frequencies, and faithfully reproduces even low mid frequencies with large amplitude.

High-quality and lightweight mechanical parts
Aluminum is used extensively for mechanical parts to achieve a high quality feel and light weight. High specific gravity type resin is used for the baffle plate to reduce resonance noise, resulting in high resolution, rich mid-range, and high-quality bass reproduction.

Detachable connector port
The detachable connector port is made of a rhodium-plated connector terminal with high hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, and a detachable contact on the headphone body.
The connector port is equipped with a detachable connector terminal and a detachable contact on the headphone body side. Balanced connection is also supported with an optional 4.4mm 5-pole balanced cable (ET-TH4.4BL) or XLR-terminal cable (ET-H3.0N7BL).
The ET-H3.0N7BL is also compatible with balanced connection.

High-purity OFC unbalanced cable included
High-purity OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) unbalanced cables are included, which are free from impurities to the utmost limit to enhance transmission performance.

Soft leather-like high-grade artificial leather pads with low-resilience cushions
The pads are comfortable to wear and provide high sound insulation.

Ear pads are consumable items. Please replace them as needed because they deteriorate due to daily use and long-term storage.
