Detachable flexible short cable for fully wireless earbuds of your choice! Next-generation fully wireless earbuds with TrueWIreless™ Stereo Plus support for independent left/right transmission

The TM2 consists of three parts: a Bluetooth® receiver with touch-sensitive and multi-button controls, a detachable flexible short cable that can be adjusted and fixed to fit various ear shapes, and detachable earphones with MMCX connectors equipped with a high-performance 6mm diameter driver developed in-house. The earbuds are the next generation of earhook-type fully wireless stereo earphones, consisting of three parts: a detachable flexible short cable that allows the cable to be adjusted and secured to various ear shapes; a detachable earphone with an MMCX connector equipped with a high-performance ø6mm driver developed in-house; and the latest chipset QCC3026 from Qualcomm®, which enables independent left-right transmission when connected to a compatible Bluetooth device. Wireless™ Stereo Plus, which enables independent left and right transmission when connected to a compatible Bluetooth device, significantly reducing noise and sound loss. It also features a roll-swapping function that automatically switches the master device according to the left and right battery level in conventional connection methods (*1) to support long-time operation by consuming the left and right batteries efficiently.
The specially designed detachable flexible short cable (MMCX type included as standard equipment) can be replaced with the earphone of your choice to make a variety of earphones completely wireless. The TM2 is the next generation of fully wireless stereo earbuds, combining new features and customizability.

Features

Adopts the latest Qualcomm ® chipset QCC3026, which supports Bluetooth® 5.0 and provides a stable connection environment.

When connected to a compatible Bluetooth device, the system can support True Wireless™Stereo Plus mode, which enables independent left/right transmission, greatly reducing the stress of sound loss between left and right.

Equipped with a roll-swapping function that determines the remaining battery level on both sides and automatically switches between the transmitter to be connected and the master unit to communicate first to conserve battery efficiently and support long operation (*1)

(*1) Valid with the conventional connection method (legacy mode connection shown below).

Supports Qualcomm® aptX™ audio, AAC, and SBC codecs for high-quality sound transmission.

Earhook type is adopted to prevent earhooks from coming off. Two types of operation: touch-sensitive (volume control, fast-forward/forward operation) and multi-button (music playback/phone call operation).

MMCX type detachable flexible short cable is equipped as standard. It can be adjusted and fixed to fit various shapes around the ear. Can also be used as fully wireless earphones by replacing it with your favorite MMCX type earphones.

The cable can be comfortably used in combination with eyeglasses, for example, by adjusting and fixing the cable shape so that the cable can be moderately deformed and the crane can be removed.

(*2) We do not guarantee the connection of all MMCX and other types of earphones. Please use at your own risk when connecting to other companies’ products. Also, please note that there is no compatibility with the old TE04 and TE05 series.

The earphones feature a high-performance φ6mm dynamic driver unit developed in-house. The earphones come standard with detachable MMCX connectors in a minimalist design that allows users to enjoy the wide bandwidth reproduction and power of the dynamic type without feeling its size.

Waterproof performance rating IPX5, rain, sweat, etc.

Power on/off or other operations cannot be performed by pressing the multi-button, or operation becomes unstable.
A

Reset the main unit.

As with the charging method, the device is forcibly reset by inserting the USB cable into the cradle and energizing it (the LED on the main unit lights up red). To use the device again, unplug the USB cable from the cradle, remove the device from the cradle, confirm that the power is automatically turned on, and start pairing again from the beginning.

Q
Ignored or canceled the "Pairing" or "Pair Setup" selection window when pairing.
A

Although audio will be emitted from the left and right sides, the roll swapping function will not be enabled. To enable the function, please select “Pair Setup” or “Pairing” without pressing Cancel. If you press Cancel, delete the history of this product (Fostex TM2 Left or Right) from the Bluetooth device to be connected and start pairing again from the beginning.

Q
When pairing, the Bluetooth device to be connected cannot be paired by selecting the one with "BLE" at the end, such as Fostex TM2 Lest BLE or Fostex TM2 Right BLE on the connection screen.
A

However, depending on the Bluetooth device connected, the slave device may not be displayed.

Q
When I replaced them with earphones made by another company, I could hear white noise.
A

It may sound louder depending on the performance of the earphones.

Depending on the earphones used, it may sound louder according to the A2DP profile signal that transmits audio via Bluetooth. In addition, it may be reduced if you try it after restarting the Bluetooth device to be connected.

Q
Sound stopped coming out of one side.
A

Turn on the power. Or charge the battery.

The power may be off. Press and hold the multi-button for 3 seconds, release your finger, and turn the power on. If it does not turn on, the battery may be dead.
